Adjunct Instructor, Pharmacy Leadership Program, College of PharmacyThe University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy houses distinguished faculty, committed students, and pioneering researchers dedicated to enhancing medications and their impact on health outcomes. The Pharmacy Leadership Program is a practice-focused academic offering designed to support the personal and professional advancement of working pharmacists and PharmD students. The program emphasizes the development of business leadership, management, and strategic decision-making skills, while building a strong understanding of evolving healthcare systems and operational change. Students graduate prepared for career advancement into leadership roles such as coordinator, supervisor, manager, director, and executive. Faculty in the program play a vital role in shaping future pharmacy leaders through applied teaching, mentorship, and engagement with contemporary healthcare challenges.Qualified individuals are invited to apply to be included in the general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming academic term (as needed). Appointments are renewed based on departmental need and teaching experience. Classes may be day or evening. Rank and compensation are based on experience and academic credentials.Essential functions include conducting and teaching assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars, serving as an academic adviser for students, evaluating student coursework, and engaging in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities. Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.Required education includes an academic degree in an appropriate discipline and prior teaching experience. Required experience includes excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject. Must have outstanding writing skills to present research in written format. Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
