CNC Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour; Based on experience
Location: Menands, NY (On-site; bus line accessible)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type: Temporary to Hire
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Program or generate toolpaths as needed for machining operations
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Move materials and workpieces on and off worktables safely and efficiently
- Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery required
- Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tolerances
- Ability to program or adjust toolpaths preferred
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
