Registered Nurse RN

Job Details Location: Newark, DE 19702 Schedule: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, on‑call, every other weekend. Position: Full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate hospice services for patients and families. Utilize the nursing process to provide quality nursing care in accordance with Delaware Hospice policy. Support the primary caregiver in the performance of physical care for the patient. Actively participate in coverage of all shifts as needed. Perform manual patient handling, including bending, squatting, driving for extended periods, and lifting/turning patients up to 60 lbs following industry safety standards. Adhere to health‑care industry safety guidelines, including protection from blood, body tissue, and fluids. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Delaware. Valid driver’s license that meets policy guidelines. Graduate of an approved nursing school; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Certification in hospice nursing preferred; CPR certification required. Minimum of two years nursing experience, preferably in hospice or home care. Benefits Comprehensive compensation package.
