About the Position

Our client in Maryland is actively seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 104-day assignment. This role involves providing weekly full-time coverage, primarily with four 10-hour shifts per week, offering optional call opportunities. The Physician will be responsible for a varied caseload including general surgery, urology, orthopedics, and OB/GYN, working collaboratively with CRNAs to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide weekly full-time equivalent (FTE) coverage.
• Perform anesthesia for a diverse range of cases including general surgery, urology, orthopedics, OB, and GYN.
• Demonstrate strong epidural skills.
• Manage a standard caseload typical of a community hospital setting, excluding cardiac surgery and interventional neuro procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with CRNAs.
• Adhere to a shift schedule from 7am to 5pm.
