Texas City, TX, United States | req31110 What you will enjoy doing* Youwill provide planning and onsite support with a strong focus on criticalsafety systems and system reliability You shall assist in installation, commissioning, maintenance,troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems In this role you will perform calibrations, troubleshooting, repairs, andinstallations of instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliableperformance Take responsibility for preparing and maintaining documentation such aswork orders, service reports, and calibration records while executingrequired administrative tasks Additionally, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain pneumatic andelectronic process control instrumentation, including predictive programinstrumentation with full repair history documentation Furthermore, utilize control logic drawings to troubleshoot complex processcontrol systems and support continuous improvement of reliability What makes you great You bring a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least five years of experience in process control instrumentation You demonstrate strong proficiency with electrical/instrumentation tools, meters, calibration equipment, and a solid understanding of electricity, electrical systems, and motors You read and interpret P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams while applying strong planning and organizational skills You contribute strong computer skills and clear written and verbal communication to support reporting and collaboration Additionally, perform maintenance and minor repairs on low-voltage electrical systems, calibrate process analytical equipment, and troubleshoot control valves and electronic control systems You meet physical requirements, including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights Furthermore, maintain flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and respond to call-ins as needed Lastly, ensure a reliable, safety-focused presence during critical operational periods Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
