Office Technician (Typing) (Permanent Intermittent) North Coast Redwoods District / Public Safety / District Office The reporting location for this position is located at 3431 Fort Avenue, Eureka, CA 95503. Under the supervision of the State Park Superintendent III, this position will serve as the District's Permit Coordinator. This position plays a vital role in coordinating the District's permitting program. The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact for permit applications. Processes permit requests for special events such as weddings, filming, photography, and others. Responsibilities include processing permit applications, maintaining records and tracking systems, preparing correspondence, coordinating with park staff, processing permit fees, and monitoring permitted events for compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position may work up to 1500 hours in any calendar year. Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required.
