Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Land and Air Defense (LADS) team at Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) Product Area as Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst (P2).The flagship product within the MRAD portfolio is the NASAMS system that is built in partnership with KONGSBERG. The system includes a Raytheon built Sentinel Radar, a KONGSBERG Fire Distribution Center and a Launcher that uses both KONGSBERG and Raytheon components. NASAMS customers represent 15 countries around the world and the long-range financial plan contains multiple domestic and international capture opportunities.The position, which will report directly to the MRAD FP&A Manager, will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven finance professional. The successful candidate will collaborate across the MRAD Finance Team and Program Office, Integrated Product Teams, and Functional leaders on the development and analysis of long and short-range financial plans, monthly forecasts, capital and new business investment and inventory, overhead, and staffing resources.In this fast-paced environment, the selected candidate must be able to deliver expected results under demanding deadlines and constraints, excel at multi-tasking, be an effective and influential communicator, and bring innovative ideas to solve the toughest and most complex challenges facing the product area.This role is being offered in a Hybrid capacity (onsite & remote) in one of these locations: Andover, MA; Tucson, AZ; McKinney, TX; Huntsville, AL. Relocation assistance is not being provided.What You Will DoContribute to the development of Long Range and Annual Operating Plans that align with product area strategy and investment plans that project an accurate projection of future financial resultsUpdate and analyze monthly current year financial forecasts for programs that will inform product area leadership of status against planIncorporate projected inventory liquidations into monthly forecasts and work with the Launcher and Sentinel Radar workload integration teams to track and understand updates to that plan and how it impacts the financialsWork with programs to ensure billing deadlines are met and monitor and support updates for cash receipts critical to the businessTrack status of annual overhead budgets to support indirect activities required to support product area execution.Support business case development for investment requests related to inventory and build inventory impacts into financial plans and forecastsWhat You Will LearnExecution of financial planning of a large and complex product area spanning various products, customers, and program teams.How to build business cases for and capture company investments such as Inventory, Capital, and OverheadHow to understand accounting and financial impacts related to inventoryHow unique contract circumstances such as Undefinitized Contract Actions (UCAs) and joint ventures (R2S) impact financial metricsHow various cash collection methods such as Progress Payments and Performance Based Payment need to be modeled in a financial planQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field & 2 years finance experience; OR an Advanced degree in a related fieldThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
