Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential required
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and ability to develop effective educational plans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compassion, patience, and creativity in adapting curriculum and lessons to support individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instructional programs for students with diverse learning needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, aides, and other specialists
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction based on ongoing evaluation
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes independence and growth
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
