Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Current license in the state where the laboratory is located, if required
• Successful completion of an accredited clinical laboratory training program approved by ABHES, CAAHEP, HHS, or another recognized accrediting organization may be required based on education pathway

Assignment Details

• Hours may be scheduled Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Saturday hours are 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Sunday hours are 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• On-call coverage is required for all other hours
• Weekend call is required
• Shifts may rotate as needed
