The posted compensation range of $41.08 - $41.08 / hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Maintenance Engineer, you will provide technical guidance and hands-on support to the maintenance staff, overseeing daily work assignments and troubleshooting complex system issues. You will ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with established protocols and regulations.

Every day you will perform routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, identifying and addressing potential problems proactively. You will also train and mentor junior team members, fostering their skill development and adherence to best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced expertise across multiple maintenance disciplines, strong leadership qualities, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. You will effectively manage maintenance workflows, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with both your team and senior management regarding facility status and project progress.

Required:

• Three years of recent, progressively responsible maintenance-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities. AND
• One year of work experience in the core level of the job family. OR
• Any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position.
