Senior Attorney

We are an established real estate and business law firm with offices across California. Our Orange County office is seeking a Senior Attorney to handle a wide array of complex civil litigation matters including, but not limited to, employment litigation. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, a great team player, has a positive attitude, and who will develop strong relationships with our large client base while providing quality and effective representation. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.Compensation:$175,000-$250,000/annually + BonusResponsibilities:Provide legal representation to clients, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario and counseling clients appropriatelyAdvise clients on federal and state employment laws, wage and hour issues, harassment, disability, discrimination and wrongful termination claims and workplace restraining ordersResearch and draft motions, employment agreements, employee occupancy agreements, termination agreements, employee contracts, employee handbooks, and workplace policiesProvide litigation defense or prosecution of civil claimsRespond to client concerns to increase and retain businessParticipate in industry organizations and affiliated committees to increase the firm’s visibility in the community and within the industryRepresent the firm internally and externallyOther duties as needed to support the legal and management goals of the departmentThe successful candidate will be required to make court appearances and attend meetings in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego and the Inland Empire.Qualifications:We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:J.D. and an active California Bar license7-10+ years attorney experience3+ years’ experience in Employment Law and/or Employment LitigationAbility to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topicsAbility to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independentlyExcellent attention to detailStrong analytical, research, and writing skillsAbility to work collaboratively with othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage and reprioritize caseloadCommitment to professional development and continuous learningThe following qualifications are preferred:Experience with Real Estate LitigationExperience with ProLaw or other billing and document management programWe currently offer a hybrid in-office remote work model for select positions within the Firm.
