Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design personalized therapy strategies that help them achieve meaningful functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to facilitate improvements in patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure that patients receive comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that foster continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Track and Document Progress: Observe clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the right track.

Education

• Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited education provider.
• Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is necessary.
