Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients\' specific needs
• We are an Ayurvedic center with doctors and hope to find someone who is willing to learn new modalities as well
• If you have SHIATSU experience in addition to Swedish and deep tissue that is a BIG +
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatment plans accordingly
• Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout each session
• Educate clients on self‑care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies
• Maintain detailed treatment records, including medical terminology and session notes, in compliance with privacy standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care when necessary
• Ensure all equipment and treatment areas adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program
• Proven experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients
• Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans
• Knowledge of best practices for maintaining hygiene standards and adhering to licensing requirements

Pay: $34.00 - $50.00 per hour
