We are working with a client who is in need of a 13 week L&D RN for a contract in Weston, WV! Contract & Compensation Details Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 3/2 or ASAP Hours: 36/wk (3x12) Shift: 7p-7a Regular Rate: $18.03/hr OT Rate: $50/hr Non-Taxed Travel Stipend: $1,246/wk Gross Weekly: $1,895 OT Rate: 1.5x Regular Rate Local Rate: $45/hr If this role is for you, you would be responsible for: Quickly and accurately assessing patient care needs Completing paperwork and patient charting. Using strategies and available resources for problem-solving for patients, family and staff Delegating tasks and care to appropriate staff and ensuring timely follow-up Facilitating learning for patients and families, nursing staff, other members of the health care team and community; integrating appropriate education throughout the continuum of care to help them participate and/or make informed conclusions about their health care and treatments Preserving and protecting the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity and rights of patients and family, and representing their concerns. Participating in quality/performance improvement initiatives Providing care for patients utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment Managing the patients' pain including epidural and patient controlled analgesia administration. Assisting physicians during delivery, treatment, examination and surgical procedures. Providing patient and family education on labor, pain and newborn care.
