Job Purpose TheDriveline Engineering team, based in Oak Brook, designs and develops transmissions and axles for CNH’s tractor and harvesting product lines. By working on both current production and next-generation driveline systems, the team ensures performance, reliability, and innovation in one of the most critical systems of agricultural equipment. As aDriveline Engineer Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience with design, modeling, and analysis of driveline components while contributing to real‑world projects that impact CNH products. Key Responsibilities Assisting with thedesign, integration, and application of driveline components and systemsfor driveline programs (Tractor or Harvesting) Supportingtransmission architecture development activities Creating and modifying3D models and 2D drawingsin Pro-E for parts and component assemblies Performingstress and life calculationsto confirm that components and systems meet performance requirements Troubleshooting and solving complex engineering problems with guidance from the driveline team Collaborating with engineers to support production and new product development initiatives Traveling as needed to theRacine manufacturing plant or Racine Lakeside test facilityto support design validation activities Experience Required Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or a related field. Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $27.81 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
