Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization.This role in summaryWhirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Supply Chain Manager opening to join our Supply Chain organization. This position is preferred to be located in Benton Harbor, MI but will consider a remote position.This team is responsible for implementing Warehouse Management System solutions along with maintaining and improving existing warehouse systems by working through business and system issues and driving enhancements across the Supply Chain organization.Your responsibilities will includeIn this role you will be responsible for understanding operational processes at the RDCs and FDCs to be incorporated into a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) design. Additionally: Lead the training strategy and course curriculum designLead a team through a Go Live and HypercareOversee the development of SOPs, QRGs, training content, training environment and anything else needed to ensure maximum retention of the WMS processes and functionalityCoordinate and deconflict training plans for Go Lives which includes but not limited to Basics of Infios, Train the Trainer, End User and RemedialDevelop training metrics to understand if training is on schedule to plan, all tasks completed and if training was successful in decreasing errors/issues during Go Lives and HypercaresLearn relevant system configuration processesAssist in testingAssist in the system design and blueprint phaseMinimum requirementsBachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Order Management 3+ years experience in Logistics Outbound processesPreferred skills and experiencesTechnical/Product Knowledge: SAP. WMS experience is a differential. Design Thinking experience.
