Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every 3rd Weekend & Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide adult and pediatric respiratory care, including critical care for both populations
• Deliver care across ED, Adult ICU, and Pediatric General Care settings
• Perform airway management, ventilator management, and ABG collection and analysis
• Administer medications, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and pulmonary toileting
• Operate equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers, and bronchoscopes
• May be floated to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Adult respiratory and critical care experience is required; candidates with minimal pediatric experience will be considered
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Active North Carolina state Respiratory Therapist license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• ED, Adult ICU, and Pediatric General Care experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PICU experience preferred
• Servo I ventilator experience preferred
