Material Handler (On-Site)

We are currently recruiting a Material Handler to join our dynamic Production Operations team in South Windsor.Work Mode: This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.Perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in storing and distributing materials, parts and supplies. Ensure the security and transportation of materials from warehouse to production in a timely manner that supports operational efficiency goals and client SLA’s (service level agreements). Reports to supervisor.**Responsibilities:*** Ensure accurate transaction flow throughout material delivery process by locating, pulling, preparing, and delivering and returning materials.* Safely operates various types of powered industrial equipment.* Accurately perform inventory and cycle counts and perform various data entry using RF equipment.* Maintain appropriate inventory levels of materials and supplies on production equipment.* Ensure appropriate housekeeping, safety and security standards are met* May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.* Load and unload trucks, perform shipping and receiving functions as necessary and locate and retrieve product from open heights up to approximately 30 feet.**Qualifications:*** Less than high school diploma* 1-year relevant experience* Previous experience operating powered industrial truck preferred* Attention to detail, sound judgment and prioritizing skills* Ability to interact and effectively communicate with team members, internal staff and liaisons* Ability to comprehend and follow instructions* Basic Computer skills* Ability to bend, stoop, stand, lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs. and/or operate equipment for 12-hour shifts.* Ability to push, pull or move heavy objects* Ability to work at open heights of up to approximately 30 feet* Ability to work in a noisy environment (ear protection provided and required)* Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require working weekends, holidays or overtime.* Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge policies.*Hourly range $17.70- $21.73 USD.
