Social Media Content Creator

Role Description We are seeking a creative and design-minded Content Creator / Social Media Videographer to support the ongoing growth of our Instagram presence by developing and managing social media campaigns. This contract role will focus on developing and producing elevated, visually compelling content that reflects the aesthetic and values of our Scandinavian rug brand. The ideal candidate is highly creative, understands the interior design industry and luxury visual storytelling, and can independently develop content concepts, manage a content strategy, and capture/edit short-form video content for Instagram. This is a flexible contract position requiring approximately 10–15 hours per month, with in-person shoots as needed at our offices in NYC and Westchester, NY. Qualifications Strong understanding of Instagram content strategy, short‑form video creation, and social media growth Experience filming and editing elevated, visually compelling content for luxury, lifestyle, or design-focused brands Strong eye for visual storytelling, interiors, styling, and contemporary design aesthetics Ability to independently develop creative content concepts aligned with brand identity and current social media trends Familiarity with engagement analytics and performance tracking to help refine content strategy over time Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, creative mindset Based in the New York metropolitan area or available for occasional in-person shoots in NYC and Westchester, NY Experience within the interior design, fashion, architecture, or luxury home industry is a strong plus Passion for design, natural materials, sustainability, and Scandinavian culture is highly valued #J-18808-Ljbffr Scandecor
