Position Overview: The Production Cook prepares food for service for residents, patients, employees and visitors.What you'll do: Prepare meals for service per recipeAssist with menu and recipe developmentAdhere to all local, state and federal food safety and sanitation codesAccurately complete all temperature logs to ensure food safetyMaintain all food storage and production areas in inspection-ready condition.Monitor overproduction to minimize wasteServe patrons and complete sales via POS in retail outletDaily use of Food Service Management software for production sheetsMinimum Qualifications:2 years of cooking/food production.1 year food safety experiencePreferred Qualifications:5 or more years of cooking in large-scale production kitchenExperience cooking in a healthcare environmentServsafe or Food Safety Manager certified2-year culinary degreePhysical Requirements:Lifting of 50 #. Standing for long periods of time.
