Medical/Radiology Tech - HPS Ortho Clinic

Work Shift: Day – 8 Hour (United States of America) 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 Weekly Hours) Monday – Friday Responsibilities Perform radiographs of various parts of the body as ordered by the physician. Obtain specimens and conduct specific laboratory tests. Record and report results to the physician and medical record. Function as part of the clinical team under nurse and physician direction, requiring documented competencies. Education & Training Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or associate degree in Medical Technology. Students in their final semester of an accredited School of Radiology may be considered provided completion of approved degree is achieved within 6 months of hire date. Experience None required. Certifications & Registration Current ARRT registration or obtained within 12 months of hire date. For MedTech: current (AMT) or (ASCP) MT certification. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to utilize standard office equipment. Ability to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment.
