Human Resources Generalist - Honolulu/Denver

The HR Generalist serves as the primary Human Resources point of contact for assigned Center(s), stores, and operational facilities. This role provides comprehensive HR support, including recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, performance management, and employee relations. The HR Generalist ensures that HR processes and documentation are accurate, timely, and compliant with ARC Command, territorial, and legal standards. This position partners closely with the Command Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Regional HR Business Partner, and Command Compliance Coordinator to support both employees and leadership while promoting a safe, compliant, and performance-driven workplace.

This position will be physically based at our Honolulu ARC but will also provide HR support remotely to our ARC in Denver. Travel between Hawaii and Colorado will not be necessary.

Essential job duties include recruiting and onboarding, employee records and HRIS, performance management and employee relations, compliance and safety, payroll, benefits, and administration, systems, reporting, and additional duties.

Qualifications include a BA/BS in HRM, Business, or related field and at least 1 year in HR or at least 3 verifiable years of experience in HR. Must have at least one year of verifiable experience with low level employee relations. PHR or SHRM Certifications are a plus. Strong computer skills, excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. Must be self-motivated, able to work with a minimum of supervision, and able to handle confidential matters. Effective written and verbal communication skills and able to interact with staff at all levels. Willing to drive to stores and other HR related business matters periodically year around. Current valid Driver's license.

Physical requirements include ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and other office equipment. Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
