The Pioneer Student Graphic Designer will assist the Pioneer Student Editor in helping design page layout, as well as creating other graphics for the publication if needed. Reports To

Current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the Fall or Spring semester or enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours for the Summer semester. OR Current OCCC student with a Federal Work Study award. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign Knowledge of AP style. Ability to type Good communications skills Good human relations skills Must be self motivated Physical Demands/Working Conditions
1. GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sedentary work: The person in this position may occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. 2. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
This position requires the person to frequently communicate with students, faculty, and staff to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations. This position requires the person to operate a computer, other office machinery and mobile devices to prepare or copy documents. 3. VISUAL ACUITY:
This position requires the person to judge, observe and assess the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations. 4. WORKING CONDITIONS
This position performs the essential functions in an indoor classroom, lab, or office setting. Preferred Qualifications
