We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Medical Management Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive on multitasking, managing data accurately, researching, and collaborating across departments. This Medical Management Assistant will process a multitude of variable tasks on a day-to-day basis while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, professionalism, timeliness, and customer service. This opportunity will also manage claim systems information, including changes to vendors and payment information.

This opportunity can be located in Sarasota, FL or Lake Mary, FL.

Key responsibilities are:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support by managing a high volume of variable daily tasks while effectively prioritizing deadlines.
• Prepare detailed, accurate monthly production reports and submit them to management within established time frames.
• Maintain and update claim system information, including claims, provider records, and payment details, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to resolve issues, support workflows, and maintain efficient operations.
• Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
• Deliver excellent customer service by professionally responding to provider and adjuster inquiries via phone and written communication.
• Research questions and issues thoroughly and provide timely, accurate follow-up.
• Utilize training materials, reference tools, and internal systems to support bill processing, reporting, and project work.

The salary range for this position is $18.58-$28.62 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications

Required:

* High School Diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or administrative role. * Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in data entry. * Ability to multitask, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines in a high volume environment. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer focused demeanor. * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain professionalism at all times. * Ability to analyze data, apply sound judgment, and make informed, data supported decisions. * Basic working knowledge of arithmetic. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel) and ability to learn internal systems.

Preferred:

* Medical terminology knowledge. * CMS/Medicare knowledge is a plus
