Digital Program Managers effectively deliver business results by championing a culture of accountability and consistent project & program management practices. We are facilitators and motivators, working across departments and offices to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of large cross-functional programs across Macys.com, Bloomingdales.com and their associated mobile apps.We need a Digital Program Manager to help guide and deliver value to our SEO team working across Product, User Experience, Analytics and Engineering teams. Essential Functions:Oversee and be accountable for SEO initiatives that further strategic company objectives and the digital visionLead cross-functional programs with multiple layers of dependencies involving executive leaders and multiple business areas. Proactively identify risks, issues and roadblocks and drives resolutionLead timeline development and track implementation engaging product, user experience, analytics and engineering partners effectively and tactfully where necessary to drive efficiency and strong outcomesApply specialized knowledge of SEO industry standards/practices to programs and initiativesUphold, lead and enforce the discipline of organizational change managementUnderstand the relationships and impacts of programs and initiatives across business unitsProvide recommendations on program dependencies that could affect the success of other initiatives. Be critical of established processes and suggest relevant improvementsProvide analysis and input on issues critical to the success of the business's strategic goalsLead program and initiative reviews with stakeholders and senior leadership to drive alignment and specific outcomesBuild a successful followership around a common goal with stakeholders. Manage multiple business area stakeholdersSupport creation of stakeholder facing metrics, executive summaries and presentations, and reportingPlan and manage special projects utilizing project management best practices Qualifications and Competencies:Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university4+ years related experienceFamiliarity with SEO principles preferred; while deep expertise is not required, candidates should have a foundational understanding of SEO concepts and demonstrate a willingness to learn and engage with the product area.Highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment; able to thrive within ambiguityYou have worked closely with software engineers, QA, product managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycleYou are comfortable talking about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical peopleExperience with multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile/Scrum). Can lead and conduct training sessions to evangelize best practices and onboard new team members You have experience influencing and setting expectations for cross-functional initiativesExcellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)Excellent organizational skills and deep understanding of Project Management concepts for planning, monitoring, and reportingYou are decisive - you gather the data and make informed, critical decisions quicklyYou are outcome driven with a proven track record for achieving results that drive the company and the teams you work with towards successful resultsYou naturally exude team-building, motivating, and conflict-resolving qualitiesYou are able to work independently with little to no supervisionExperience working with remote teamsPMP certification preferredWhat We Can Offer YouJoin a team where work is as rewarding as it is fun!
