Job Title: Forklift and Warehouse Associate
Job Description
This role focuses on safely operating stand-up forklifts while performing a full range of warehouse functions to support efficient operations and timely order fulfillment. You will handle loading and unloading, order picking, product put-away, pallet consolidation, and shipment preparation with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to support efficient warehouse operations and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Perform core warehouse functions including loading, unloading, order picking, product put-away, and pallet consolidation.
• Conduct manual case picking as assigned to support daily operational needs and customer order requirements.
• Prepare, verify, and stage products for shipment, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform outbound load audits to confirm shipment accuracy and compliance with documentation.
• Identify and correct labeling issues to ensure all products and pallets are properly marked for shipping and inventory control.
• Resolve product count discrepancies by investigating variances and adjusting counts as needed in accordance with procedures.
• Replenish inventory in designated warehouse locations to maintain product availability and smooth workflow.
• Use RF scanners and related warehouse technology to complete picking, inventory, and shipping and receiving tasks.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards at all times.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties and special projects as assigned, consistent with training and job qualifications.
• Collaborate with team members across different shifts to maintain an organized, efficient, and clean warehouse environment.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts, with at least 6+ years of stand-up forklift experience.
• Hands-on experience with both stand-up and sit-down forklift equipment, including brands such as Linde and Crown
• Demonstrated experience in order picking and case picking within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including staging and verifying outbound loads.
• Ability to use RF scanners for picking, inventory management, and shipping and receiving tasks.
• Knowledge of inventory replenishment and product put-away procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform physically active warehouse tasks.
• Consistent adherence to safety procedures and company policies in a warehouse setting.

Work Environment
The role is based in a climate-controlled, large warehouse facility with approximately 100 employees working across all shifts. You will spend most of the workday on your feet and will be expected to stand for extended periods while operating forklifts and performing manual warehouse tasks. The environment uses standard warehouse technologies such as RF scanners and forklift equipment, including stand-up models from brands like Linde and Crown. Work is organized into three shifts on two schedule patterns: Schedule A (Sunday-Thursday) and Schedule B (Tuesday-Saturday). For each schedule, second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and third shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with multiple openings on first and third shifts. You will be expected to work overtime up to 10 hours per week, with the option to work a sixth day, in a clean, structured, and safety-focused warehouse setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Stockton, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.55 - $23.05/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
