About the Position

Job Title: Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day and Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience with critical care of children and adults with congenital heart disease - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios Description: Position specializes in Pediatric Cardiac ICU and Cardiovascular Intensive Care. Years of experience required: 2. First-timers are not accepted. Weekend requirement: 3 out of 6 weekends. No on-call requirement. Floating may occur to other Intensive Care Units. Rotation consists of 50% day and 50% night shifts. Experience in caring for patients with congenital heart disease is essential. Knowledge of special procedures and unit operations is a must. Professional references are required from previous work experiences.
