Senior UX Designer

Job Summary You willbe responsible forthe design and development oftheoverall functionality of digital products to ensure exceptional user experience by translating business requirements and concepts into sitemaps& journey maps, wireframes,andprototypes.You will providedesign support while understanding user-centered design principles and best practices. Reporting Structure ThisrolereportstotheLead–CustomerExperience Job Objectives Translate complex concepts and interactions into visually coherent wireframes orprototypes. Design and develop UX interfaces and workflows to enhance userexperience. Research,understand,andutilizeongoingmobileapplications’/websiteanalytics. Job Responsibilities Design & Development Createcustomer experience journeysfor product/project features,web pages, product interstitials, notifications,and other components of the product experience that align and support the overall subscriberexperience. Create wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs,and prototypes to communicate your design to the rest of theteam. Develop detailed wireframes, user flows, mockups, and other product deliverables to effectively communicate designs and productrequirements. Formulating information architecture and navigation for complex data structures Articulating future-proof design strategy for multi-audience, multi-channel, multi-appsolutions Workwithother teamsto test features and incorporate user feedback into designiterations. Utilizerapid prototyping and iterative designtechniques. Design for multiple platforms & screensforpeople-centered digital products. Deliver engineering-friendly design specifications anddocumentation. Online portfolio of Research, Personas, UX Flows, Experience Maps, Wireframes, Prototypes,and User Testing Conduct benchmarking against similar types of businesses to ensure that the proposed designis following the latest trend inthemarket and is competitive compared to other businesses in the sameindustry. Conductresearchpre-developing the customerexperience. Conduct surveys to collect endcustomers’feedback on the developedjourneys. Documentation,Communication& Collaboration Create documentation (Interactive playbooks, UX documentation, site architecture, wireframes, use cases,and taskflows,)to be used by theteam. Maintain all UX/UITemplates, documentation, assets, personas, design mockups, user flows, navigational maps,and experience documentation for assignedprojects. Communicate designs – Create meaningful UX deliverables such as sketching, storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts,prototypes. Collaborate withprojectteams to create artwork for the platform that satisfies requirements and strategicmessaging andcontinues to raise the visual integrity of theuser experience,to drive user adoption andengagement. Collaborate with fellow designers to help evolve the design language of the website/mobileapplication. Collaborate cross-functionally with other groups to solve strategic initiatives and new project challenges quickly andcreatively. Work closely withacross-functional team of designers, software engineers, product managers, and business owners through all product developmentphases. Work with the Software Testing teamduring the testing phase to ensure that what was developed matches the journey designed Job Requirements Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree incomputer science orarelated field Licenses & Certifications Scrum Master Google UX Design Professional PreviousWork Experience 5+years of experience as a user experience designer, information designer, interaction designer,andgraphic designer Experience in professional user interface design or related design disciplines Proficiencywith severalgraphics’tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Proficient with at least one of these design programs such as Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent Proficiencywith wireframe and prototyping tools (Axure isthecurrent tool of choice) Ability to work on highly detailed projects, highly creative brand-drivenprojects. Experience shipping high-quality consumer or enterpriseproductsaplus. A strong portfolio of work demonstrating breadth and depth in UX and visual design, designstrategyand processCritical thinker able to work through complex variations and with high attention todetail. Experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environmentsfor both desktop and mobile. Experience applying WCAG standards to designconcepts. Proficient with qualitative and quantitative user testing methodologies, such as user research, usability testing (moderated and unmoderated), A/B testing, and analysis Solid foundational design skills and sensibilities Software Skills Strong proficiency/expertisein: InDesign Adobe XD Axure RP Interactive Prototyping Tools An added advantage if you have the knowledge of tools such as Hotjar, Google Analytics, etc. Conceptual, confident, competent, adaptable, proactive, and results-orientedwithleadership and strategicthinkingabilities Continuouslylearnand gain knowledge aboutnew software design technologies&trendsandleveragethe latest Webtechnologies. Abilitytointerpret and convertcomplex concepts andideasinto visually coherent wireframes orprototypes. Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and multi-task and meet tightdeadlines. A keen interest and awareness of future developments in website, mobile, software,and technology trends,and innovations Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces.
