This position is based out of our headquarters in Kennesaw, GA.The RoleThis Project Manager position sits at the center of the job. You own the schedule and the budget, and you're the person clients, architects, field leadership, and other trades come to when they need an answer. It suits someone who is technically strong, comfortable making decisions, and able to keep multiple projects moving at once.What the Job Looks LikeYou'll run projects from preconstruction through close-out, building and maintaining the schedule, tracking costs, and finding efficiencies that don't come out of the quality of the work. A large share of the job is coordination - keeping clients and design teams current, resolving conflicts with other trades before they become delays, and making sure your field leadership has what they need to keep crews productive.The rest of it breaks down like this:Make occasional site visits to check progress and work through issues directly with superintendents and foremenSpot risks early - manpower, material lead times, schedule compression, scope gaps - and put a plan against them before they cost moneyKeep documentation clean and current: submittals, RFIs, change orders, daily records, and close-out packagesHold the job to company safety and quality standardsSupport and develop the assistant project managers working under youBackground We're Looking ForWe're after four or more years managing commercial construction projects, with direct experience in drywall and metal framing scopes. Exposure to ceilings, finishes, or Division 8 and 10 work is a plus.
