Seasonal Beertender/Tour Guide - Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room

The Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room is hiring a part-time, seasonal Beertender/Tour Guide to join our team! This role is all about creating unforgettable first impressions-welcoming guests, sharing our story, and delivering exceptional craft beer experiences. Compensation $16–$17/hour (DOE) Tip pool (averaging an additional $4–$7/hour, depending on season) Seasonal Details Anticipated through September 2026 End date may adjust based on business needs What You’ll Do Create a welcoming, fun, and memorable experience for every guest Pour and serve draft beer while showcasing our portfolio Lead engaging, informative brewery tours and tastings Share the Deschutes Brewery story, culture, and product knowledge Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room and entrance Stock and merchandise retail products with attention to presentation Complete opening and closing duties (cleaning, restocking, cash handling, etc.) Ensure smooth and efficient service, including accurate cash handling Follow all food safety and sanitation standardsServe alcohol responsibly in accordance with laws and company policies Perform front desk duties including answering phones, directing calls to appropriate departments, and greeting/checking in guests, vendors, and contractors Support a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace What We’re Looking For A friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented personality Strong communication skills and comfort speaking to groups (up to 20 people) Ability to stay calm, energetic, and professional in a busy environment Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Reliable and punctual-consistency is key Passion for craft beer and eagerness to learn Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but not required Requirements Valid OLCC Server’s Permit at time of hire Food Handler’s Certification (within 30 days of hire) Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Availability for evenings and weekends (required) Perks & Benefits On-demand pay through DailyPay 401(k) with 4% company match (immediate vesting) Paid sick leave and holidays Employee Stock Ownership Plan (become a co‑owner!)
