Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $85,000 to $90,000

Position Overview

The Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor will oversee maintenance operations across a portfolio of affordable housing properties to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and inspection requirements. This role involves significant travel and close collaboration with property managers, maintenance teams, and external vendors to maintain operational excellence. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Prepare a portfolio of properties for maintenance duties and compliance readiness, ensuring all standards are met.

Train new hires and provide ongoing support to maintenance and property management staff to maintain quality performance.

Lead compliance inspections and ensure all properties meet required guidelines and regulations.

Teach new skills and best practices to current Property Managers to enhance operational efficiency.

Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external service providers for timely and effective service delivery.

Maintain clear communication with support staff and leadership teams to align on goals and progress.

Establish vision and strategic execution plans to improve property performance and compliance outcomes.

Partner with government agencies to ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements.

Required Experience/Skills

7+ years of related experience in property maintenance or compliance.

Experience with Affordable Housing Programs including Section 8, HUD, and LIHTC.

Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple properties and teams.

Ability to travel extensively (3 weeks per month) as required by the role.

Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.

Preferred Experience/Skills

Maintenance certifications are preferred and considered a plus.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required.
