Description Duncan Oil company is a family-owned business located in southwest Ohio. We currently operate a chain of convenience stores around the area and are hiring for our RoadDog store in Willshire. As the face of our company, the RoadDog Store Associate is essential to our business success. The associate is responsible for the sale of fuel and other in‑store merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, supporting the kitchen, and maintaining overall store operations while providing the best customer service. Responsibilities Ensure each customer receives excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging them. Provide customers with a quick and efficient checkout experience. Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, credit/debit card, etc. Follow all city, county, and state regulations and procedures regarding the transactions of tobacco products, lottery tickets, and alcohol. Assist customers with all questions and concerns. Maintain adequate stock levels of merchandise; restock and front merchandise as needed. Assist with general store operations as needed by the store manager and overall security of the facility. Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders. Use point‑of‑sale system / cash register. Assist with stocking of products and supplies. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the cooler. Requirements Experience operating a cash register and handling cash at high levels of accuracy. Strong communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers of varying demeanor. Ability to assess a situation and make a logical decision. Quality personality—willingness to build a team that enjoys spending time together. Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Must be able to lift 50 pounds overhead.
