This facility is seeking locum tenens orthopedic surgical coverage across its operating room and emergency department service lines. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support quality orthopedic care delivery on an on-site basis. Coverage is structured at 10 days per month to ensure continuity of surgical services.

The Georgia region offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and family-oriented activities. Tubing and swimming on the Toccoa River, boat rentals on Lake Blue Ridge and Lake Chatuge, trout fishing, and gem mining at Lilly Pad Village provide options for varied recreational interests. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway offers a 26-mile round-trip ride through the Chattahoochee National Forest, while Mercier Orchards and nearby apple houses provide seasonal family-friendly activities. Downtown destinations include antique stores, art galleries, and dining options suited to a broad range of preferences.

Clinicians will provide 24-hour shift coverage supporting the emergency department and operating room at an on-site facility in Georgia, with assignments scheduled for 10 days per month beginning as soon as possible. Clinical responsibilities encompass general orthopedic surgical care consistent with OR and ER settings, and call coverage is a required component of this assignment. APP support is available on-site to assist clinicians throughout each assigned coverage period. Board certification in orthopedic surgery is required for consideration.
