Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting, including scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgical procedures
• Support robotic, orthopedic, and neurological surgical cases with proficiency and adherence to established protocols
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Fulfill on-call requirements, including one on-call shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month
• Complete all required pre-start and annual compliance modules in a timely manner upon assignment confirmation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct RN Operating Room experience required
• Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurology OR experience required
• Active RN license required; pending license considered
• ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of submittal
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Two or more years of OR experience preferred
• Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II facility preferred
• Familiarity with EKG interpretation and pharmacology assessments
