Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Sign-on bonus potential up to $20,000 for full-time nights and $5,000 for full-time days!

Locations Available: We're hiring Respiratory Therapists across a variety of our hospital sites, including Arlington Heights, Skokie, Evanston, Highland Park, Chicago, Naperville, Elmhurst.

Shifts Available: We offer flexibility to fit your lifestyle and career goals: Full-time, part-time, or PRN (8 and 12-hour shift options) Day, evening, and overnight shifts Weekend coverage options Sign on bonus potential up to $20,000 for full-time nights and $5,000 for full-time days positions!

What You Will Do:

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures
• Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment
• Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians
• Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner
• Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients
• Provide patient and staff education

What You Will Need:

• Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status
• State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment
• Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
