Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby / Family Centered Care

Location: Cumming, GA

Assignment Details

• Assignment Length: 16 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Candidate Type: Travel RN

Available Shifts Day Shift – Cumming, GA

• Shift: 12-hour days
• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Unit: Family Centered Care / Mother Baby

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby / Family Centered Care to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a busy maternity environment.

The ideal candidate will have recent Mother Baby experience and be comfortable working in a high-volume maternity setting. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills are essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby / specialty experience .
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Current NRP certification required.
• Experience working in a 40-bed Mother Baby unit preferred; required for certain openings.
• Experience working in a high-volume maternity setting preferred.
• Experience in a maternity facility with approximately 4,000 deliveries annually is highly preferred for high-volume openings.
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and family-centered care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
