Research Scientist I

To support the Evidence & Strategy Practice, the full-time salaried Research Scientist I will perform data management and statistical analysis using large datasets, contribute to research proposals, and ensure the accuracy of analytic outputs in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Perform data management activities to create analytic-ready datasets using SQL and/or SAS Conduct descriptive and basic statistical analyses to support economic and outcomes modeling Independently manage workflow and contribute to the research and analysis process Required qualifications BA/BS or higher in computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, epidemiology, or a related discipline 3+ years of SAS or SQL programming experience in a professional setting Experience analyzing large administrative pharmacy and medical claims databases Working knowledge of basic statistical techniques and econometric skills Positive, flexible attitude with strong teamwork skills in a remote/hybrid environment
