Days Of Week : Work Shift : Job Description : Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Patient Care Technician professional assists with patient care to provide support services to the patient, nursing unit, and professional staff. Your Job Requirements: • Graduate from a certified Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant Program
• Or 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility
• Or nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of the nursing program
• Or documented military experience as a medic/corpsman
• Or foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the • Or EMT Certification/Paramedic License Experience
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required
• High school diploma or GED required Your Job Responsibilities: • Communicate clearly and openly

delineated for assigned unit: Lab specimens collected; appropriately labeled, and
delivered to lab in a timely manner, utilizing appropriate safety measures to prevent
patient and staff injury; Communicates results of selected tests to professional staff in a
timely manner; Conforms to safety standards dictated by regulatory agencies i.e. safety
manuals, MSD sheets, OSHA issues. - Maintains clean work environment, adequate equipment and supplies: Equipment is
kept in good working condition; related supplies are kept clean, and are at desired par
levels. - Performs patient care activities delegated and supervised by the professional staff:
Activities of daily living such as baths, oral hygiene, and oral feedings performed to
satisfaction of patient and professional staff; Patient mobility performed (i.e. turning,
lifting, moving) utilizing appropriate safety measures to prevent patient and self-injury;
Patient meals and nourishments are offered, administered, and recorded in a timely
manner; Assists Nursing staff with admission, discharge, transfer, and transport of
patients. - Respond effectively in emergencies and assists in prevention of patient injury: Initiates
CPR when appropriate; Utilizes side rails and restraints to prevent patient injury;
