Overview Position Summary Responsibilities Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; applies Open Door Policy to action plans in executing business processes and practices. Operates forklift per company standards and guidelines; safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise and pallets. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; pursues improvement opportunities and adapts to change. Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manages inventory flow; follows policies for equipment usage; merchandising, inventory control, and documentation. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services. Maintains facility safety according to policies; conducts safety sweeps; follows forklift and hazardous materials procedures; reports unsafe conditions to management. Maintains sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, ensuring display integrity, and monitoring sanitation or food-safety requirements; oversees promotional and seasonal merchandise. Ensures club pickup orders are filled and staged; assists with picking and staging according to policy; performs occasional audits for accuracy. Inventory management: moves and displays goods safely; tracks in-stock levels; controls shrinkage; reports poor inventory practices. Uses inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly; maintains product organization and stocking accuracy. Technology: assists customers with technology services; identifies shrink opportunities and takes action to fix problems; maintains equipment and organization. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications. 90 days of prior forklift experience and ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Customer service experience, retail experience, supervising a team.
