We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack .NET Developer with AI/Generative AI expertise to build next-generation intelligent applications for enterprise and financial services clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in modern .NET development, front-end frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and AI technologies including Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, and AI-powered application development. This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver innovative solutions that combine traditional software engineering with cutting-edge Generative AI capabilities. Additional Information * The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110K - $115K/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Angular, and React . Develop AI-powered enterprise applications leveraging Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, and Large Language Models (LLMs) . Build and integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge repositories. Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures to support AI-enabled applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into AI-driven technical solutions. Develop intelligent chatbots, virtual assistants, document processing, and workflow automation solutions. Integrate AI services with enterprise platforms and business applications while ensuring security and compliance. Implement prompt engineering, model evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices. Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular, React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks. Optimize application performance, scalability, observability, and reliability across cloud environments. Partner with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies. Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to drive innovation across projects. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in Full Stack .NET application development. Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework , and Microservices architecture. Experience integrating and consuming Generative AI services , including Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Claude, or similar LLM platforms. Strong understanding of Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector Databases, Semantic Search , and AI application patterns. Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or LlamaIndex . Proficiency in SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and data modeling. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure , including Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI. Experience building and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes . Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Understanding of AI governance, security, observability, and responsible AI principles. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred, but not required: Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Insurance domains. Experience building AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows for enterprise use cases. Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or Azure AI Search . Experience with AI monitoring, tracing, and observability tools. Microsoft Azure Certifications, Azure AI Engineer, or related cloud certifications. Experience working with multi-modal AI solutions and enterprise-scale AI deployments. Exposure to MLOps, model lifecycle management, and AI governance frameworks.
