About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President of Network Contracting to lead the California and Hawaii markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company across all lines of business, including commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and exchange products. This role demands a market leader who can drive performance against affordability, network stability, and growth objectives while maintaining strong executive-level relationships with key health systems and provider organizations. The RVP will also be accountable for network strategy execution, cross-functional alignment, and team performance, and must ensure the development and management of unique network configurations to meet the company's needs. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a network management-related role and 8 years in healthcare. The role requires a proven track record in negotiating various reimbursement arrangements, including capitated, value-based, and fee-for-service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product pricing, financial modeling, and managing a market budget, as well as at least 5 years of supervisory experience. The RVP will be expected to lead a large multi-state team, set market strategies, and ensure the achievement of key performance metrics. Solid decision-making, communication, and relationship management skills are essential, as is the ability to operate and influence across the enterprise. The position is pivotal in the company's mission to create a more responsive, affordable, and optimized health care system.
