Construction Materials Testing Technician

What You Will Do Test raw materials and finished goods against internal and customer specs. Prioritize and complete lab tasks in alignment with safety procedures and SOPs. Perform additional tests or inspections as assigned by department leaders. Become proficient in all core methods after training; handle non-routine tasks as they arise. Collect and package samples for testing; support complaint investigations with required testing. Enter results and conditions into quality systems and manufacturing/ERP software. Recommend and log adjustments for nonconforming material; determine material disposition (approve/reject). Carry out or verify calibration procedures for raw materials. Maintain 6S housekeeping and a safe, orderly lab. What You Need High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in a technical discipline preferred). 1+ year of manufacturing experience. Effective communicator across supervisors, peers, and cross-functional teams. Competence with basic math and formula-based calculations. Ability to read and write in English. Basic computer/data entry skills; ERP experience a plus. Strong attention to detail; team-oriented and willing to help others. When You’ll Work 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday–Friday. Training: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, for up to 4 weeks prior to moving to 2nd shift (as deemed necessary by the Lab Manager). Why Teknor Apex?
