Placement Specialist – Business Insurance We’re seeking a Placement Specialist to support Marketing Operations across the region, ensuring high‑quality submissions, documentation, and client service. Responsibilities Support Marketing Operations: review submissions, prepare drafts and finalized submissions, compare quotes, develop program proposals, and maintain accurate records. Review program binders for accuracy and complete file reviews. Assist marketing team with carrier bind orders. Participate in marketing meetings to discuss new and renewal business opportunities. Collaborate with producers and service staff on day‑to‑day commercial lines marketing. Collect, distribute, and track agency performance with carrier partners. Notify team of carrier staffing, underwriting, and appetite changes. Act as an advisor in sales calls: participate in prospect/client calls, provide business‑insurance expertise, meet clients when needed, and offer customer service on accounts. Proactive client service: gather info and analytics to evaluate risks, ensure compliance, discuss renewal strategy, gather renewal data, and work with client executives as needed. Additional responsibilities: any duties assigned, become efficient in online rating, and serve as point person for online rating with the marketing team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Knowledge of property and casualty coverage and risk management. Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal skills, high sense of urgency, and sales‑related experience dealing with producers, client executives, carriers, and clients.
