Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY

Schedule
Days: 8 hours a day, 5 days a week or possible 4x10s.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements
- Hold a license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Maintain and update physical therapy skills and certifications as necessary.
- Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing of services.
- Computer skills necessary to complete job requirements, including EMR.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
- Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient charts and follow up on prescriptions and test results.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA policies and ensure patient privacy.

Compliance / Notes
- Must actively participate in company privacy training and communicate privacy policy information to coworkers.
- Required to comply with OSHA and federal and state regulations.
