  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for radiology migration, including all modality types, exam protocols, and clinical use cases
  • Coordinate with modality vendors (GE, Philips, Siemens, Canon, Hologic, etc.) to ensure DICOM conformance and connectivity to new PACS platform
  • Configure and test RIS/PACS integration, including order entry, exam scheduling, technologist worklists, and results distribution
  • Troubleshoot radiology imaging integration issues, DICOM send/receive failures, modality connectivity problems, and workflow disruptions
  • Participate in go-live support, providing on-site clinical and technical assistance to radiology departments, imaging centers, and remote facilities
  • Support VNA (Vendor Neutral Archive) integration and historical image migration from legacy PACS systems
  • Develop radiology-specific training materials and documentation for diverse end user groups (radiologists, technologists, radiologists' assistants, schedulers, referring physicians)
  • Conduct role-based hands-on training sessions covering diagnostic workstations, advanced visualization tools, hanging protocols, and workflow optimization
  • Provide hypercare support during transition period, addressing clinical questions, workflow optimization, and efficiency improvements

  • Train super-users and PACS administrators on system configuration, user management, and ongoing support procedures
  • Collaborate with project management, radiology leadership, IT teams, biomedical engineering, and vendor partners to ensure successful migration outcomes
  • Participate in regular project status meetings, providing updates on radiology readiness, technical issues, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Serve as primary liaison between radiology departments and technical implementation teams
  • Document lessons learned, best practices, configuration standards, and operational procedures for radiology PACS implementations
  • Support change management activities including communication campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption tracking
