Registered Nurse CVSU

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join a Cardiovascular Surgical ICU in a newly renovated 29-bed unit. Key responsibilities including providing specialized care for critically ill patients with severe cardiac, vascular, and thoracic conditions such as cardiogenic shock, aortic dissection, and post-cardiac surgery recovery. The RN will monitor invasive hemodynamics, assist with cardiovascular surgeries, and manage mechanical support devices like ECMO, VA, VV, VAV, RVAD, and LVAD. The role involves acting as a primary caregiver for post‑anesthesia cardiac patients, working closely with a skilled team, and ensuring high‑quality personalized care. The RN will collaborate with physicians and team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, utilizing evidence‑based practices and compassionate communication. Qualifications Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree, and at least one year of acute nursing experience. Current RN licensure and BLS certification are required. Skills Skills needed are strong clinical judgment, adaptability to changing patient acuity, excellent communication, and teamwork.
