She Recruits is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a respected physician-led healthcare organization seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician or an Internal Medicine Physician with inpatient rehabilitation experience to serve as Medical Director of an established inpatient rehabilitation program in Lake City, Florida .

• Provide comprehensive medical management for inpatient rehabilitation patients.
• Diagnose and manage medically complex rehabilitation patients.
• Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine physicians, nursing, therapy, case management, and other clinical specialists.
• Lead interdisciplinary care planning to maximize patient outcomes.
• Oversee quality initiatives and support rehabilitation program excellence.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on exceptional clinical outcomes.

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)

OR

• Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience
• Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Eligible for Florida Controlled Substance Registration
• Strong communication and leadership skills
