Dental Hygienist Instructor

Join the leading provider of rural healthcare in Minnesota! This is a unique dental opportunity allowing you to work in a cozy dental clinic setting within a large integrated hospital facility. You will work with our dental staff to assist in making our patients' experience a safe and enjoyable one.

Under the direction of a licensed dentist the dental hygienist instructor promotes dental health by:

• Performing dental prophylaxis or periodontal therapy providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies
• Conducting oral assessments
• Conducting patient education related to practicing good oral hygiene
• Providing other duties related to preservation of dental health and prevention of dental disease
• Occasional supervision of dental hygiene students

Schedule: Fulltime position working 80 hours per two weeks Monday - Thursday all-day shifts typically start at 8:00AM. The dental clinic closes at 1:00PM on Fridays.

Pay & Benefits: Salaried position starting at 85571 annually. Pay determined by years of related experience. Full pay range: 85571 to 128377 annually. Hiring bonus of 3500 for eligible candidates. Full-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts, and more!

Qualifications: Graduate of accredited dental hygiene school (Associate, Bachelors, or Masters degree). Licensed by the State of Minnesota. Current CPR certification. Minimum of 3 years of previous dental experience required. Previous supervisor/instructor experience preferred. Must possess and demonstrate high level clinical skills and patient care techniques.
