Sr. NetOps Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a NetOps Specialist to join a long-term government program based in New Orleans, Louisiana through onsite work. The NetOps Specialist will perform network administrative functions in support of the United States Marine Corps.Responsibilities for the NetOps Specialist include:· Conduct oversight of network systems, architecture, and topology through deployment, and network operations.· Scheduling, developing, and assisting in the implementation of emerging technologies, system maintenance, and application of business processes to ensure appropriate service levels.· Aiding in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and processes· Preparing status reports and recommendations based on monitoring results, tool analysis, and forensics.· Perform network administrative functions such as troubleshooting outages, and configuration upgrades, in addition to overseeing and reporting outages on classified and unclassified networks.Qualifications for the NetOps Specialist include:· 6-10+ years of experience with Information Technology.· Experience with routing/switching, network troubleshooting, configuration, upgrades, and monitoring.· Must possess active IAT II certification (CCNA Security, CySa+, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+C, CND, or SCP).· MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.Compensation for the NetOps Specialist include:· Salary Range: $105,000 - $110,000 **depending on experience**· Full Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Federal Holidays, PTO, etc.Keywords: NetOps, network operations, NetOps, NOC, network systems, network operations, topology, Information Technology, IT, government, federal, integrated network solutions, network solutions, federal, computer science, CS, IAT II, CCNA, IAT II certification, CCNA certification, clearance, security clearance, secret clearance, Admin Tier, Admin Tier 1, Admin Tier 2, Network Admin, Network Administrator, Network Amin functions, Mid Lead Experience, Troubleshooting, troubleshooting outages, updates, configuration updates, Network Performance Monitoring, Regional, regional network operations, classified networks, unclassified networks, secret, New Orleans, Louisiana Job Category: IT InfrastructureSecurity Clearance: Secret
