About the Controller: Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations while leading a team of accounting professionals responsible for multiple operating entities. The CFO is increasingly focused on acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and organizational growth. They are looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of accounting operations and ensure the financial foundation remains strong as the business expands. What You'll Own as Controller Lead all day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting Ensure balance sheet integrity through timely reconciliations and analysis Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, and general accounting functions Develop, mentor, and support an established accounting team Partner closely with executive leadership on financial strategy and operational improvements Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls Support future ERP implementation and system enhancements Collaborate with external CPA partners during year-end reporting Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis What We're Looking For in a Controller CPA highly preferred Experience leading an accounting team Strong technical accounting background with ownership of the full close process Expertise preparing financial statements and managing balance sheet integrity Advanced QuickBooks experience Experience managing multi-entity accounting environments preferred Background within construction, field services, home services, trades, industrial services, or similar industries strongly preferred ServiceTitan experience is highly desirable ERP implementation experience is a plus Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is A servant leader who leads with empathy Comfortable rolling up their sleeves alongside their team Humble enough to ask questions and collaborate Driven to continuously improve processes Excited to grow alongside a business that’s investing heavily in its future Why You'll Love This Opportunity This company has built an exceptional culture where employees genuinely come first.
